S1 E9: Releasing
In this episode we discuss emotions. We look at the frequencies that our emotions emit and how that affects our reality. We look at the three main ways that people deal with their emotions and provide some practical ideas for how to deal with them.
Just as we talked about in the previous podcast about words having a frequency of vibration, emotions do too. There are actually scales showing these levels. See the scale below. Basically, bad feeling emotions such as fear or anger, emit a lower frequency and good feeling emotions such as love or joy emit a higher level frequency.
People use three main ways to deal with emotions:
Suppressing our emotions. It is not the ideal way to deal with them. Suppressed emotions stay stuck in the body.
The second way is that people escape. They are afraid to feel their emotions so they do things like drink too much alcohol, take drugs, shopping, hoarding, video games, sex, porn, food, gambling, and other such negative addictive activities. This is not healthy.
The third way, Releasing, is the healthiest way and the one we are going to focus on.
There are three steps to releasing:
1. Recognize the emotion, name it and allow yourself to feel it for a moment.
2. Express it out – release it.
3. Re-align yourself through self-care.
