This episode provides a comprehensive introduction to Meditation. We explore several of the most common forms of meditation and participate in some practical exercises.

What is Meditation?

Meditation is a spiritual practice where one calms the mind and clears it of thoughts.

Why Meditate?

Meditation allows your inner voice – your soul – to come through. You need a still mind for this to happen.

Main benefits of meditation:

·         Decreased levels of stress, anxiety and all the benefits that come with this

·         You connect to your inner guidance

Common forms of meditation:

1.       Counting down numbers backward

2.       Focusing on the breath

3.       Guided meditation

4.       Full body progressive relaxation

5.       Walking outside through nature

6.       Transcendental Meditation

7.       Mindfulness

8.       Tapping or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
